not sure how much you can get from private.
public service you can likely get about 3.8-4k * 15.5 plus minus. you can do your own comparison

Thanks for your input! Does this 3.8-4k include employer's cpf contribution?

Whatever it is you choose, no need to worry so much

As a local uni grad alone, you already is 前途无量

Don't worry so much, good luck

Haha thanks. Been running the rat race since P1 and I'm so afraid of making the wrong choice and 'wasting' all the years of hardwork in school.

local bank (less than a yr) -> $11000 (avg 15mths)

i am currently 37 this year. I think the 10 to 15% guide increment from last drawn dont really apply if you are in private sector
which SB pay 18.5 months?

I got queries for rank in uniform service. What is the equivalent MX grade for Inspector / ASP / DSP. I guess INSP - ASP is equivalent to MX12? DSP 1 is MX 11 and DSP 2 is equivalent to MX 11A? How long does it take to move from Insp to DSP? I see that nowadays everyone is hired as an Insp.
