Late starter here - male, early 30s with only o levels and limited working experience, have been in cs for 1.5 years, only Mx15. Got B grade at first grading and received first increment. Only have 6 months left on contract. Current pay is 1.8k. Even if i somehow can go up to Mx15 with new contract, should I bother staying? I'm far behind my peers but hope to (almost) catch up by my late 30s.

How much increase would a bump to Mx15 be? Should I be seeking opportunities in private sector instead of staying in cs to build my resume?

Default Advance pay

Hi, Deepavali is after pay day and usually salary will be credited before PH. Any idea when will it be credited for such case?

I accepted the offer of 5k cos overall assuming it’s 16 months package, that will be 80k/PA Which is Super decent.

Was told about reappointment at MX 11 after one year of service, don know real or not..

Default .

I joined a ministry and was offered a 2-yr contract before they decide whether to emplace me. I found out that my colleagues in my team either joined directly as a perm staff or only had a 1-yr contact before emplacement. Does anyone know why there is a disparity in contact length? Does a longer contract length means there is a higher likelihood that there will not be emplacement?

What's the typical increment % to expect when one jumps from a diploma to a degree level job?

Have been working for a while. Intending to jump to other agencies.
