You are doing not too bad. I hit 150,000 pa for personal income when I was 30. My then gf was making 100,000 pa. Fast forward to today and we pretty much have whatever you have, minus about 15 years of age.

It seems to me that you cannot accept people sharing their income which are higher than yours?

You have to get used to the fact that there will be people (many people) whose income will be higher than yours.

This being a forum to share income, we should be happy that high earners found time to come here to share.

Arent you tired of the guy who kept posting about being 48/49 or 49/50 earning $130K+ pa and then congratulating himself of being in the upper class because he is staying in a condo and driving a car? The amusing effect is long over, now it is just very irritating.

At 49/50, he should be comparing with people in his age group. With his household income, I think he is below the median for this age group. But that is not important.

The important thing is that his current networth which included his condo, is inadequate to sustain his retirement if he doesnt downgrade to a small HDB flat.

If you retire at 65, you can save $450k cash over 15 years. You can then invest in 5% dividend yield stocks to give you $22.5k pa in dividends. Your CPF Life will give you $43.2k pa. Let's say your chidren gives you $500 pm, you will get $6k pa.

In total, your passive income will be $71.7k pa or $6k pm. This is a good retirement passive income for you and wife.

You don't have to downgrade and can retire in place.

I bought guaranteed COE 2mth ago and yesterday was the last confirmed bid.

The sales guy said didn't get and it is off-bid and told me they will sure bid 2 weeks later.

I wonder what legal action and compensation can I take.

Guaranteed does not mean 100%.

Anybody can advice?

Btw, it is thru a PI which is of good standing and not those fly by night type.

As I have predicted, COE price went up BIG TIME today. Congrats to those smart ones who listened to me to buy earlier, especially those who got the $38K COE. If you listened to the fool who said COE will drop to $10k or $30k, then too bad.

COE prices will continue to rise. If you bought with GUARANTEED COE, then good for you. I said many times buy with GUARANTEED COE because COE prices is on an uptrend.

Those who are winners will be motivated after reading such stories. They too want to work hard and achieve such success. They will find ways to improve themselves to be like him or even better.

You have a loser attitude. Upon hearing other people's good fortune, you make personal attacks. You don't ask yourself how you can improve to be like him, but complain that life is unfair.

After reading some inspiring sharing here I have already signed up for a few self improvement classes for personal and career development. I believe this will help me improve myself and hope to one day reach the 150,000 pa before 35 years old. That is not as good as the other poster but it will be a good achievement for me.

Depending on performance, but been hovering around 500K p.a. for the last 3 years.
