Numbers are approximate
2016 - 50k - started @ smc
2017 - 50k - failed promotion due to some internal issues
2018 - 60k - promotion
2018 - 70k - promotion
2019 - 96k - new job @ mnc
2020 - 109k - new job (headhunted), moved due to more stability and prospect compared to previous
I would say this is not a normal progression comparing to peer and colleagues so do not take this as a benchmark.
I can foresee the IT industry will still be lucrative in the many years to come.
