The ministry has guidelines re salary so as to prevent people job hopping.
Last time when there was 6 health clusters that happen and salaries started to get out of control.
One IM con from ktph cross over to AH got a 6k increase.
Now u from nhgp cross over to nup for example, their hr will talk to your HR to find your salary and give u the same.
The trolls really a lot.
FM where got 300k when u just exit.
Infact no speciality gives u that from start.
300k is at least ops head and at consultant level all in plus whatever extra allowance.
Young heads dun get that yet.

Read the going private 2023 article by Hobbit in SMA newsletter
Healthier SG signups first mover effect? Better go pte soon if you GP
After 5 years will be hard to sign up new patients.
Will be like the problem specialist now have not being able to get on
IP provider panels.

I don’t think 72k per annum is likely though
C base pay is just 12 excluding allowances
Unlikely NUHS will offer 18 pm unless he is a prolific researcher.

Outside not a bed of roses one.
All have difficulties
But for specialist clinic, IP panel no impact, as it covers inpatient mainly
Basic Pte is all cash cash cash

Seriously? A consultant's base pay is only 12k a month?

Yeah. That’s why don’t study Med for the money. Local Med still worth it… but to spend over $600K on overseas Med degree not worth it. Better spend 200K on a LLB+LLM package.. make more money… with lower cost of education
