My motivation for joining medicine is because I am a science-inclined student and medicine and law are kinda what look good in the society. I am rather confident of being able to graduate medical school.

Better you go to Investment Banking.
Medicine is a lot more about dealing with people who have all kinds of complaints than about science. Think more like those complaint hotline.
Most smart students study hard at home or in library dont go out and mix with 50-80 different people every day. It is a culture shock when you finally work as a dr.
People exposure overload.

Somehow now we still don't have enuff m.med ops doctor
Btw AC is more or less gauranteed ..unless u screw up big time but you don't have to do anything extra to get it unlike consultant in ops

Then ask ourselves: why mmed doctors are not staying in OPS? you are saying they guarantee FP, guarantee AC, shouldnt more ppl stay?

Even if you take into account the attrition rate and mmed failure rate, guess at least half (15) will make it to mmed. And that is just one year.
If there is no resources to promote these mmeders to AC, then these people just stuck at fp?

How is Fam Med residency life like? Seems to be the most popular choice now.
