Anyway, I went to look.
O&g how come competition ratio not that high in UK?!
3 for 1 spot.
Not too bad.
Sg quite hard to get in but it's straight 6 years now

If u think u have what it takes to go all the way, stay in UK

Sg o&g training only kk and nuh.
All one pattern. U come back can't straight get in.
Need work 1 to 2 years with them.
And I repeat..all 1 pattern
Day 1 u make 1 consultant or reg unhappy
Gg liao. No chance.

Salary diff not much la.
o&g and paeds are historically non-competitive specialties in the uk. mostly non caucasians doing them. caucasians hiam and do more relaxing specialties. the medical litigation in o&g in uk is sky high. why go through the mental trauma?

Unless u did something so grossly stupid that no one support u
In which case u deserve it.

No need lah. U need clinical posting by no necessary medical
Clinical means no pathology, no radiology, no admin

I already got full reg. But just wondering how do aspiring pathologist, radiologist trainees get full reg then?

Once they exit, full Reg will be granted

Moh doesn’t want them to become full Reg without exiting.
The reason is they don’t want them to be released to gp land without clinical experience.
