How is life as a doctor in Singapore?

In the pte GP market having a MRCGP will make no difference to your salary.

In the public sector having a MRCGP is also not much use since they only recognize MMed Fam Med as specialist family physician qualifications.

So if you have your mind set on coming back to SG might as well come back ASAP.

And asking from perspective of both specialist (i.e those who left after serving at least few years as consultant) and family physician (those who completed mmed/fellowship)
I don’t see why not.
There have been cases of returning specialists and FPs.
If you are fully qualified and no bad blood / not burnt your bridges, I don’t see why not.

work as what?
a gp /fp?
u take UK mrcgp need 5 years.
2 foundation year plus 3 training
by the time u come back is year 6 liao.
u come back is conditional reg also.

only raffles can take u in private on c reg.
no polyclinic will take u direct becuae no one knows u.
u can only join mohh who might not post u to polyclinic.
u want to go back to being a mo in gen med unit?

ya. surprisingly fam med v difficult to get in now.
it's 5 applicants per spot.
even dean lister applying now.

Hello does any one know how much raffles medical pay the basic GP? Also how much would they pay raffles hospital perm staff A&E? And raffles medical hospital MO? (Do they even exist)

20k for gp
a&e if u do night shift also 20k
mo is 12 to 15k.

Thats where all the North American Medical School rejects go to ans then out MD at the back of their names but can never get into a residency training position.

Biggest scam ever.

Great if you are happy to have MD at the back of your name but work as clinic manager or recruiter
