How is life as a doctor in Singapore?

So locum rate is only $100/hr?

So little?

Nowadays standard is to earn around 500k a year. Work day and night as dr only half that.

True doctors are MMEDERS. all this locum talk is disgusting. all those cant pass have not met the gold standard. all these doctors these days dont know how to do good medicine

Can anyone share is there any APP to search locum slots? besides locumsg any other website/link/groups to find locum slots ? I find locumsg very limited, not many options- all the same big chains , cant find any small gp clinic slots.

Also, If i want a break from clinical for my mental sanity , do i have any options? I am not keen in research so pharma companies is not an option for now.
Now no vaccine centers or CVH also to " take a break"
I am a young FP who really would like a short break, honest answers are truly appreciated from the bottom of my heart

My last option for a break is part time locum, but some guidance on finding slots will be good

Hi, public healthcare admin staff here. What do doctors think about admin staff and do you folks expect us to just support and execute, or use brain and help you guys? I have worked in a few institutions, general feel is that doctors just want us to keep our opinions to ourselves and execute according to instructions given. But quite a few doctors, and other clinicians I have worked with really cui when it comes to admin work, like planning. Culture of the laojiao admins who are my superiors is to just suck up to doctors and execute, don't gehkiang, but this is making work disengaging for me. Seems like those who can survive and stay in public healthcare long enough are those who can follow culture. Need some feedback and advice.

Bro don’t kid urself. Medder can only sweep the floor and do triage. You know it. I know it. The basic qualification is fcpfs. You no fellow, means is quack doctor

Min is 10 years post fellowship exp then is an average dr.

Do not look down on others/locums
Everyone has their own path. It does not mean having an MMED makes you a better doctor or that having a GDFM only makes you a lesser doctor.
