iirc it’s R&T paying 2.5k, the rest are paying 2k but i think it evens out with R&T paying called pay one month later than other big 4s if i’m not wrong

Do the tc at R&T then jump to the other b4. Best of both worlds.

Is legal service a good career choice?
I understand that LSOs dont get to be called to the bar until only after a few years. Do I need to go and find a TC to get called assuming I found out SLS is not my cup of tea?
I'm interested in public service but not sure how it will really be until I start working inside and I've heard horror stories about bureaucracy in civil service.
Seems like the safest way to cover all bases is to apply for a law firm TC and get called before applying to legal service?

May not be a great idea to go into the legal service after getting called. The thing about AGC (as with other Singapore government agencies) is that the career path heavily favours scholars. So, if you're going in after getting called I'm assuming that a scholarship is not on the table, in which case, what is your end-game?

The scholars thing doesn’t apply to AGC. Nobody really cares about that in the organisation. The attorney general himself wasn’t a scholar.

It's a legit question though...if this were the US market, and/or you were a SCOTUS law clerk.
But unfortunately, this is the Singapore market. So the short ans is, no. Lol
