Can or not? If not why artificially inflate the fail rate of professional exams?
Like you said, this is a profession.

If only 20% of Japanese lawyers manage to pass the Bar each year, why shouldn't the failure rate mirror Japan's? One does not need to look too far. Our neighbour boasts a 10% pass rate.

Also, you're forgetting the pass rate for a driving test is higher than Part B.

might not be a bad idea if it had some kind of filter e.g. the lawyers subreddit only allows actual lawyers to subscribe so you need to provide proof of your license or sth (personal details blanked out of course )

prevents trolls from ruining the place unlike here where anyone can post

nah think it's better for there to be quality control. there's a reason why the existing lawyers subreddit requires proof that you are a lawyer. otherwise, trolls can just keep creating new throwaway accounts, and it would be incredibly time consuming to keep constantly monitoring and blocking people.

moderators of subreddits don't get paid and are doing it out of goodwill for the community - would be absurd to expect them to be on-the-ball 24/7 constantly looking out for ppl acting in bad faith, when most moderators have jobs and don't have so much time

everyone just gonna show you the same redacted pc for 2021/2022 lol

i propose adopting a test - "no decent lawyer would write that crap under his real name"

subreddit mod exercise of absolute discretion, but do publish your gd so we (in keeping with tradition) can comment on it and use it as precedent
