The law degree is not going to be the reason why you can't get the job. Outside of very degree-specific jobs being a lawyer or a doctor, a degree is just something you have to have, but it's not super strict what type of degree it is. So yes, you can hold only a LLB and work in a BB in a middle office or even front office role. I know friends who have done it.
The real problem usually is that you have 0 experience. They won't doubt that you're smart if you managed to do well in law, but not only will you have no foundation in the relevant finance concepts, you won't have done the relevant internships or acquired the relevant contacts that even business or finance students need when they are applying for jobs. If you don't have any of this on your resume, your question is a complete non-starter. So, yeah. The degree isn't what's going to be stopping you
