Firstly, pay for a contract role under settlements is a max 3K, could be arpund 2.6k.
Secondly, kelly services DOES NOT take a cut from you. Don't listen to ****ing idiots in here. Kelly services is paid a % of commission based on your salary per annum, and this is paid to them by DBS.

There are 2 staffing models prevalent in the market. One type is contingent i.e. when they close co. will pay xx% of the candidate basic salary as commission. Another type is process management i.e. agent will pay $x salary to candidate and cost pass through to co at $x+y
Cannot generalise as Kelly offers both type of arrangement. It really depends on the job and the contract Kelly has with DBS.

I see, so max is 3k, from what i saw from kelly website, there do have scheme that is like the headcount will be under kelly, hence payment by kelly instead of hiring company, so pay will be determined by kelly.

I see. well, I do hope my pay will truely be given by DBS instead of under the headcount of Kelly.

i fail to see how this will make a difference to the employee on the ground.
either way, same job, same everything else will get the same pay. The only difference is when the person gets converted after performing well; and then that's where the $ starts to kick in.
if i'm not wrong DBS offers almost all their contract staff through Kelly Services, so to TS please do not feel alarmed by that. Work hard, learn as much as you can and all the best.

All the best
I think you got a rather good offer. I started with basic 2010. And in 6 years, I am taking home 7700 a month. I was doing settlement and now still settlement.
