You can take it as regular adrenaline. The kind of expectations and issues that have to be dealt with may just push one out of public sector. It's not only the work but the people (internal and external) that you have to deal with.

Hi, I have a question. Im a teacher and was on maternity for the past 4 months, after which I had applied for no-pay leave for the next 2.5 months (term 3). Will I still be paid for the Mid Year bonus plus SG50 Cash pay out?

But In Pte sector, the prospects can be much better. There is more potential to earn high salary (eg. more than 10K per month).

You will likely get paid bonus for the maternity period but not the no-pay-leave period. For SG50 bonus, based on the principle, you should get it but please check with your HR.
