No chance to join the government public service as a overseas degree holder?

Hi all,

I've heard so much about that there is no chance to join the government public service as an overseas degree holder. Is it really true?
Is there any overseas degree holder who are currently in government public service now? Able to give a shoutout to deny this understanding of mine?

Just a little background: working experience in several MNCs for the past 8 years, obtained my degrees (Bachelor and Masters) overseas.

Can join as Long as your degrees were done on campus. Hopefully Ur UNi is also in their list of recognised institutions.
