I agree with the OP. It is highly unlikely that they are looking to hire someone at a junior level with barely 3 years of experience. It is very apparent especially if you have already gone through the panel interview.

However, I also agree that this is a free forum so people can write anything that they want as long as it achieves their aims. This is even more so for a forum which allows unregistered users to post so i rest my case.

I have been through the panel interview and I have slightly more than 3 years experience. It might have helped that I’m from a top ranked masters (non MBA). Up to you all to believe it or not but tbh no reason for me to provide false information.

Let’s just say I don’t wish to be easily identified by providing further details.
I think ultimately, it depends on the business needs. All of us apply to one of the three tracks but not every team in the selected track is hiring. The type of candidates, their skill sets and the level of seniority etc is probably decided by the requirements of the hiring team. I doubt that the more senior necessarily means the candidate stands a better chance.
