Forex got risk, but it is the easiest to make decent money without needing too much capital.

Forex trading high risk. I've been there, done that. Lost $$$$. Regret.

Retrenchments are never a good sign.
Were the affected employees redeployed internally, or they have joined the ranks of the unemployed now?
Companies rarely take the drastic retrenchment approach as it stirs too much noise.
Any other stories about companies conducting restructuring?

What type of operations?
Is it a big or small bank?

I think the unemployment situation is quite bad. At least for the mid lifers. I have been jobless for more than a year already. Every time i attended those career events organised for the unemployed, the turn up is huge. I am surprised so many singaporeans are unemployed. Especially the PMETS. Occasionally, i saw a few in their thirties. Mostly forties and above.
