Yes very big. Alot of us needed to keep the plant running after things picks up. You can’t just hire newbies to run your plant, no operating knowledge. Can just hire engineers anytime, cos not many of you guys to start with. It takes a long time to get someone to be trained to be a tech and tahan all the LPS shite on site. Engineers makes decisions, we pull the trigger. There is a good chance that the plant can go up in flames due to a tech’s fault. Engineer’s decision will be scrutinized alot before execution.
So you tell me we not big F?

You talk as if people never train you to where you are now. If others are willing to give you the opportunity to learn why is it so difficult for you to impart your knowledge/skills. Like I said you can hate the company and criticise the company for all I care but don’t have to be mean. Treat people the way you want to be treated. You kpkb so much about EM also still take salary from them.

Ya the PIP/Singapore study was really executed poorly in a lot of way. A lot of good people were let go but the specific process guy above still remained in the company. Not happy just quit lo wtf. So many JLBs around.

Actually have you considered taking voluntary severance if it has been offered?
No point harping on your situation.

Can understand. Sometimes it is tough to give up on something which you have been receiving for so long. Been in the industry for a long time and have seen many good colleagues being let go over the years.
End up hiring new people who are less competent.

Yes esp if you cannot take risk of retrenchment every year.
That said there are still many people who survived over the years.
