If this is the acceptable norm, then accept the frequent mrt breakdowns, coz experienced engineers are not needed. Also dont complain about high COE and car prices, coz more people are moving away from public transport to buying cars.

what's so sad about waking up daily at 7am, squeezing onto trains, staring at the computer and dealing with humourless people who love schedenfreude for the next 9 hours, spending your entire life living in a high rise apartment (which you can't afford anyway) in a terribly overcrowded 20km concrete area jostling and putting up with some of the nastiest and most selfish humans on this planet.

surely you need to achieve your 5cs soon so you can show off to your family and friends and feel good about yourself.

Shed me some light on how to get out of this rat race . If life indeed had better choice than this, I'd definitely consider it

The fact doesn't change. How one views it differs.

NS or non-NS
1st class or 2nd upper or 2nd lower

are you with ministry or stat board??

what is the starting salary when you 1st join the "public sector"??

4.3k after 1.5 years exp is damn high......most engineers in my company, most of them with ns with degree with 6-7yr exp max only hit 4.3k
