So typically which industries in the private sector or/AND public service, pays annually without fail, a total bonus of 4-5 months in all economic conditions?
Is basic salary meaning 12 months? what about the AWS component included as basic pay as well or categorized together with bonuses segment?
Next question is pretty interesting-does the vast majority of people in Singapore across all income groups get (12months basic pay+4-5 months bonus=16-17 months/year before tax income)? or whats the percentage like?
Lastly, what is considered a high basic income across all industries generally speaking, starting from how many thousands per month? 5,6,7,8k or 10k plus?

Is a Business degree worth more than an Accountancy degree?
According to the Graduate Employment Survey throughout the years, the starting pay for fresh biz grads are higher than acc grads. This trend has been reflected in NUS, NTU and SMU.
Plus, it seems that that acc courses take in more academically inclined students than biz courses throughout all 3 unis. The irony is that despite their generally higher competency, they end up earning lesser than biz students.

Reason for that is many acc grads go into big 4 audit firms. Low starting pay but potential for much higher jumps subsequently. Looking some years after starting their respective careers, a acc grad should do better than biz grad ceterus paribus.
