Hi, I am considering doing part time lecturer in ITE in the future.
Any ITE lecturers have anything to share?

I would like to know how the part time lecturer scheme works in terms of working hours and salary (for a Bachelor deg holder).

Ite has 2 certification, nitec and hnitec, for deg holder normally u can teach hnitec. it is 60$ per hour, each session is 645-945pm , 3 hours per session. if u teach the whole module, it normally twice evenings a week, for 20 weeks per term (6 months). part timer teaches those course structured along with workskills dev't framework, but aligned with some of ite full time course. for ex: h nitec in technology. class size is about 20 pax. part time students are those who are upgrading, ie working adults. the same is also true of part time at poly.

Is there any experienced poly lecturers here working in poly for more than 5 years?
how much has your salary increased in 5 year time?
