I can feel your anxiety, however no two HR works the same way. Would you like to advise where you applied to so that others can advise if they know something

what do you have to nego?
like because you 'hearsay' someone is earning more?
maybe if you have multiple offers, you can play each other until one of them retracts it? like "agency A giving me 5k, can you match...?"

Your future boss is quite particular that you have the skills to do critical thinking and problem solving under pressure (that a job is at stake) this type of interview sieves the academically inclined from the performers.
it's not v helpful to say this, but I like this kind because I'm not academically inclined but I excel at problem-solving and decision making.
how to prepare? every interview I been to, I ask, "what is the process like" and "how long it will take". usually, the point of contact will tell you there a case study/essay+interview/2 hour Psychometric test (many MNC do it)-- even if they cannot explain more. that is already a godsend. depending on what field and position, you already can predict several possibilities and prepare for it.
just to share, mine at a Ministry near the town was case study + essay + panel all within 60 mins. they didn't mind to exceed though. first -essay, then a smiling panel, then ask me to solve the case. senior/managerial position are often like that. don't confuse with those "manager" that accept fresh grads.
all the best for the next battle.
maybe you demonstrated well and they already ticked all the boxes. sometimes long, simply means they are trying to put out the information they need from you because you had yet to portray the traits.

Yea 1 HR!
60 minutes omg...that must be really tiring for the interviewee...
I'm hoping it's like this!
Thank you for the replies!!

every interview is an experience, regardless good or bad, if don't get means maybe got better candidate that matches them well. like even they smile smile at you, means you're good, but who knows the one that came in later ticks more boxes than you - something that we cannot control. so just hope for the best, if not continue to find something that you find and something that is more suitable for you.

High risk move. Only do this if the job is not your top choice.
As long the job pays above 3k, my opinion is can take. Many factors to consider that make working there a living hell. Some people even resign without job just to take care of their mental health.

I applied NEA last year, they will take 1 month to schedule you for an interview if they want you.
Before the interview you need to do an essay etc.
