It's true some of our bonus is cut and few of my technician in bukom is being compensate. And I am from oil and gas industry for more than 20 years. EM is hiring yes because the seniors like is given paycut or compensated, and who is your friend? Who told you shell need 30 more people? Doesn't mean you join big company you will like or suits you.

I have my sources abt the hiring. Em do not given paycut. Shell is plagued with safety issues hence company is affected. Shell hq wud not be investing in singapore when there is huge problems. Every down time will cost money hence bonus cuts..

EM there's a cut down of senior personnel, my friend dad is being compensated. They hiring more bcoz newly technician won't be paid that much. That's the reason. I have been in this line for 25 years.

Anyone knows how long Shell will get back to you after undergoing the medical?

I think there's alot of misconception about EM. They do not lay off staff, in fact they are mass recruiting now. I never heard of people being compensate. Please do not spread anyhow. Reason is because alot of senior are retiring and need people to be trained to become console operator. You need to be a senior tech to operate the console. Operating console is no joke. You need to years of experience to know how to start up, shut down and keep your cool when the plant is upset.

EM is actually earning a tidy profit due to the low crude prices. So far, EM is in a steady state given the volatile market now. Do apply if you guys are interested. Apply online and wait. EM HR is based in Bangkok. So if any overseas no. Call you, be sure to pick up. Aws is fixed 3months, variable performance bonus and a fixed yearly quantum. All in all is around 5month bonus. Good performancers receive more. EM Ot rate is the highest among all. Don't be suprised if people tell you that the seniors are earning 1k plus per OT shift.

Nop Malaysia seldom they hire. You can try apply other factory company or operator job.
