Reaching my paygrade ceiling soon (GEO5) and feeling unmotivated. OPE unsuccessful. Looking out for TWA opportunities or PDL.

Is it true that you qualify for half Pay PDL or even full Pay PDL if you worked a certain number of years? Or is this only for high flyers aka PGS / PGA awardees?

if you serve 10 years, you can get half pay PDL if im not wrong

i am surprised how school can offer such positions to clueless ppl. depends on the school obviously, sigh.

Not worth the long hours. Be prepared to bring work home on weekends and evenings. You don’t need to be in SC to be promoted to be SH or HOD.

Doesn’t it depend largely on the school? Some schools have it as a standalone thingy, others have it as a CCA.

But student leadership work is quite valued by many schools, which can make your journey to SH easier
