U see saf created a lot of additional ranks
3sg 2sg 1sg
Now So many grades of warrant officer also
And even senior lieutenant colonel

Why?
Reason being while i cannot increase pay
I can increase title.😉
More incentive for them to stay

Standard path is to email the generic school email address and wait for them to connect you to the relevant people. More direct path would entail emailing the HODs of the relevant subjects directly, if you can find their contacts.

I suspect it's highly unlikely to land a CAJT role without a prior relationship with the school, though - from what I understand, it requires them to use a vacancy that could otherwise have gone to permanent staff. You might want to explore taking up a FAJT role in the meantime.

understand. thanks for the reply.

i resigned end of last year due to burn out. but i wasn't able to secure a new job since then.

as my living expenses suddenly went up due to family issues, i suddenly need a more stable source of income instead of relying on giving tuition.

thats why i thought of applying to be cajt, while waiting for the trained teachers application window to open in june.

but u have a point that schools may not want cajt who has never taught there before. so indeed doing fajt for the time being while waiting to see if i can rejoin as permanent trained teacher might be a more workable route.

Ship has sailed already pal. Anyway, don't get doesn't mean you not good. Those are super ultra exclusive awards after all. Plenty of good people in service who never get to smell those awards.

You happen to know when they are usually informed?

It depends on school. My new colleague this year, wasn’t in my school before. She left the service about 3 years and couldn’t get any job outside suitable so she came back. If the school wants you, they will, from what I know, she told me is base on interview when the school calls you

Default Submitting resignation letter

Hi all, need advice. I am a third year BT, entered service in 2020. Under the PGDE scheme so my bond period is 3 years. After some recent incidents, I have decided to leave the force once my bond period ends (2023). A few questions that I need guidance with.

1. Is there a way to check when exactly my bond period ends? I checked my Teacher Training Agreement (TTA) which was signed before commencement of NIE studies, and they do not provide any details. Should I email HR to ask? Will it set off any alarm bells in the school management?

2. The reason that I do not want SLs to approach me about it at this time is because I am due for promotion next cycle (P has already told me about this). I am afraid that once they know I'm leaving, promotion might not come. I would like to at least have a GEO3 and a higher salary reflected in my payslip for greater negotiating power in the search for my next career. Is this fear founded?

3. How many months' notice do I have to give? Is it realistic to project my last day of service to be end June 2023 (end of hols)? Or does HR not allow it as I am technically not "working" in June?

4. Any other advice for those who have done similar? Typically what would the resignation process be like?

Thanks everyone. Hope you have a great weekend and happy Mother's Day.
