We are not your Principal or Branch Head, why not go ask them or your RO? They will have the definite answer on whether you are promoted.

They already have the lists with them, but there is no fixed date or even any rule that they must send it out to everyone.

Assuming that both of us are from the same batch,

Me: Appointed HOD, geo 5
Colleague: appointed SH, SEO 1

I am very disappointed that my colleague who came in at the same time got promoted to seo1 before me. I am certain that she is not a kid career switch. She is covering the hod, but yet to be appointed while I have already been a head for two years.

Hi all, does anyone know what the typical increment from GEO3-4 is? A friend mentioned it was about $500 increment but that was 5 years ago.

There's a possibility she has a higher CEP than you. Promotion speed depends more on CEP than ranking grade.

your colleague probably is the better person to be HOD.

Her CEP is higher. Doesn't matter who is appointed earlier. Sometimes it's just right place right time. But promotion rate tells the real story about CEP.
