i have relatives and cousins who are teachers. all were once-CMI students who did not go to top schools and whom i deemed academic failures as students. now teaching. teaching! my god; those poor poor students under them. how to succeed in life with a CMI person as their teacher?

now u compare to cream of the crop - drs and lawyers. all from top schools. straight As students. all rounders. for every 1 dollar that a teacher makes; drs and lawyers deserve 100 dollars for their time/effort/brains/overall ability

The only failure is see from this post is you. are you envious of your cousins and relatives who managed to become teachers? instead of being harping on their past, go and work hard instead. Go for skills future courses to upgrade yourself. yes it's difficult to find time while driving Grab, but you've got to manage your time better. Dont spend so much in forums like this when you can get another passenger to cover 1/6 of your rental.

Why you cursing me? thought we’re brothers? since when we overpaid? we everyday suck thumb have to ferry teachers, lawyers and sometimes doctors but paid sh*t fares by grab. at best can only rent out hdb room. seriously that’s not enough. so thats why we phv drivers must have each other’s back, instead of cursing one another

In fact Teachers should only have 9 months of pay a year

The other 3 months should be UNPAID hahaha. Do nothing at all and can travel overseas so please justify? Utterly useless pricks.. only know how to teach some basic language science and math, otherwise zero real skill and knowledge my god. How hard is it to learn the basics of those subjects?

No wonder most Teachers once came from lousy neighbourhood schools. U hardly see raffles/ HCI/ VJC grads becoming Teachers. Even if they do they’re usually scholars and not these useless pricks loitering around the forum here most of whom dont even make a 5 figure salary a month. Useless.

I don't think teachers "Do nothing at all" during holidays. mark homework, set exam papers, prep next term/year work, do budget, networking, etc.

Surely out of the 4 week holiday in June they don’t spend more than 1 week doing the things u mentioned? And certainly not more than 20% of the time over the year end holidays is spent doing these things either. I see them traveling overseas instead and posting all over ig. Well, we all know their salary is a mere 4 figure a month for 95% of them at least. Only VP and P make 5 figures a month. Sad.
