2 weeks after the interview, I was informed that I was not further shortlisted:'( Planning to reapply.
For those who reapplied before, if I were to apply for the same position, will I still be considered? Or should I try applying other positions? TIA.

What position did you apply for? I am going for my interview soon and I am so scared. Really want this job haha. I mean, i have secured a job already but being a DXO has been a dream of mine. So thats why the pressure haha. Feel free to PM me if its a sensitive position.
I think you should try to apply for other positions. MINDEF does give chances for reapplication, at least according to my experiences lah.

if you are asking if they accept diploma holders for a degree entry job.. of course not.
unless in some cases where they stated diploma with experience required. ive seen it before. but rare.
but if still want to apply as a DXO, there are still diploma entry jobs available. but salary will suck as compared to working outside. but less responsibilities due to lower rank.

i was in a similar situation. i reapplied immediately after i got my first rejection and got called up instantly for a interview. but, i applied for another position and got offered.
for your qn, i cant answer you. best is to call the HR manager who has liaised with you thus far. they will know.

You got called up instantly?
I reapplied - because i passed my psychometric tests from what i can observe - and its been a week since they have acknowledged my re-application (and the fact that I don't need to sit for PT). Getting worried now.
ANYWAYS,
What are the hotter positions for a DXO? From previous pages, appears to be psychology and defence policy. Hahah didnt apply for those but urghh just hope there wont be too many competitors. HAHAHA
I also understand that you can choose camps right, if there happens to be more than one vacancy. When do you list your preferences - during the (i presume) email invitation to the interview or just before the interview? Can list more than 1 preferred camp/unit/workplace?

Thank you so much for those who provide advice on the reapplication 😊😊😊
For those who are going for the interview, all the best.
Hope I will be called up again after I reapplied.

yup. more or less instantly within a week if i recall correctly. i suppose that it happens that the interview was scheduled soon and i met their requirements. (engineering degree)
hmm.. hottest would be HR related positions. and psychology because in singapore... well you know how it is.. no market.
just before the interview, i was handed 3 job scopes for 3 positions. each job scope is in different camps. so basically, you literally have 30 mins to indicate your preference on a piece of paper after reading the jobscope. like first choice 2nd choice etc. usually the 3 positions are under the same job family, i.e NSmen executive, but just in different camps.

Hi to all,
for re-application, do we have to apply online submission again or just inform HR for our 2nd or 3rd choice application?
