Entered MINDEF as DXO in 2013

2013: DX9 (default Band III)
2014: DX10 (Band II)
2015: DX10 (Band II)
2016: DX10 (Band II)
2017: DX10 (Waiting for 31 Mar 17)

What are my chances of DX11 if I get Band II again this year?

Hi, im not a senior. But i am curious on how you got DX10 so fast. Are you a fresh grad or mid career?

I entered as a fresh grad in Q3 2013.

Anyone received email from HR stating that your application is being referred for certain position and is awaiting for hiring unit for their consideration? How long is the waiting time like?

The last i received such an email and after chaser email, 2 weeks after, was replied with a rejection email even before the interview.

For those who have been through the interview, how is the procedure like? Panel or 1-1 interview? Any written essay needed?

ok. no idea how you got DX10 so fast. either you were in the right place right time or you have good qualifications.

I understand it'll be panel interview with about 4 interviewers, of which 2 are from HR. Essay depends on the job you applied for. Most surely there'll be essay(s) if you applied policy roles.

May I ask which job you applied for?

Took the psychometric test about two weeks ago and am still waiting for a response from HR. Anybody in the same boat? haha the waiting is killing me though I know MINDEF is notoriously slow and I sincerely wonder how can anybody deal with this long process in terms of opp cost, other pending job offers, etc. >

Fresh grad, applied for Finance Role and currently scheduled for an written essay and interview, Anyone knows what kind of questions will be asked for the written test?

6 Jan - Applied
14 Jan - Shortlisted for Psycho Test
8 Feb - Complete Psycho Test
22 Feb - Received notification of rejection for initial role applied but was offered to consider for another finance role
30 March - Scheduled for first interview.
