Snr Associate to AVP easy, most people average 2 years, but AVP to VP need longer from 2 to 4 years depend on performance.

I am wondering what is the degree that one should hold in order to enter the finance industry.
Can any kind souls guide me as to what are the jobs with better future prospect available in the industry? Also what are the requirements for front office AVP or VP? I don't mind working late nights or 7days/week though.

I find the people working at SGX to be rather immature.
One of the departments, two of the staff quit because they got sick of the head of that department's immaturity/nonsense. That person is 40-something and acts like that person is still in highschool!
Another department. The head of that department - he/she bullied most of his/her staff to either quit or have fired them. I was told this person has a "100% turnover rate". If you're unfortunate to be working in that person's department - good luck on trying to get a promotion!
Its not all bad news. People do get promoted. There are reasonable bosses too that promote their staff.
My advice - avoid female bosses at SGX!! Most of them are either immature or chronically menopausal.

SGX bonuses
Hi, anyone working on SGX. Did a quick check on old posts in this forum, but didn't get a sense if the company is on 13th month and the bonuses given each year.
Anyone has info on this? TIA!
