Now what we see is the Amt of work has tripled due to greedy Partners getting more engagements by undercutting prices, while the wages increase abt 500 compared to 10years ago? Lol? Can’t even keep up with inflation

Why no ppl laugh at civil workers ? Because they 9-5 shake legs Everyday, getting a lower wages but with better WLB is a choice . Oh wait I forgot now even civil services earn more bucks than big4, supposedly big firms that churn huge profits (by exploiting employees who still drink the grind and work hard= rewards koolaids)

If u ask me, no Personal life + no money, another modern way of natural selection lah.
Hope no next gen of auditors

● Learning material fees for 1 set of ICAEW-prescribed textbooks per module, reimbursable upon passing the relevant module;
● Annual student fee payable to the ICAEW for the period you are undertaking the Programme, reimbursable upon payment by you to the ICAEW of the same; and
● All other Programme related costs determined by the Firm to be included in the sponsorship [e.g. external tuition fee for 1 passed attempt per module, capped at S$900 (prior to 1 July 2019) OR S$500 (effective 1 July 2019), reimbursable upon passing the relevant module].

Without the stress of thinking about money or worrying about appraisal and promotion, this job not bad one

Asset rich, cash poor. I also stay 3 storey landed but household income less that what yellow SM1 makes. Those were the days where 1.5m can easily get u landed.

I wouldn’t want to be in the same engagement as you.

It’s like doing a project with a classmate who already intends to MC finals or going to SU the mod.
