This is so true. Those managers will try to convince you to stay but you can tell they hate their jobs and are there just for the money.

they're still conning uni students into joining because of the supposed brand name that was built up over the decades. no reason too when there're so many other more attractive industries out there.
whether yellow blue or whatever, is all the same. essentially fungible from a quality of life and exit options POV.

Dont fret. If so many first class and second upper avoiding audit like what these so called high flyers mentioned in this thread, this makes the second lower and below ppl easier to clim thru the ranks and become partners eventually. Sooner or later the boomer partners will retire anyways, creating a hole to fill in potentially.

This is Big 4 salary forum with many stressed auditors so suaning will continue. We like to compare salary, grades, univesity to pwn each other.
You don't want to be suan then go other forum like reddit, hardwarezone, mycarforum

Actually in this date, there is nothing big about big4
Be in starting salary, or salary progression even you stay till partner
Most MNC can match that, not to mention tech, law, medicine

Audit industry is still a sweatshop and starting pay still stuck in 2000s civil service starting pay. Like that how to attract local grads?
