Erm in the first place, part of the target audience of this forum is fresh graduate looking for their first job with minimum knowledge of how the firms work.

Dont be silly. Partners wont " quit" They only will leave for high flying jobs like VPs at banks etc

In fact even SM can leave for high flying jobs at banks. Wonder why they are so silly to stay back at Big 4 for pittance salary of 10 k/month , no AWS and slog like ****

would advise you to intern at big 4 and ask around the people there instead. ppl who mainly comment in this forum are usually sick and tired of their audit job and finding an online community that can rant together

Just to get everyone opinion, I’m currently getting HKD56500 approx SGD9800 monthly (12mth pay exclude bonus) as M1 in Hong Kong yellow firm, do you think I’m able to get back the same back in SG?

This should be sm1 - sm2 pay in sg.

you already a m1, you should know or see enough. big 4 normally rank match or low ball only.

No chance. M1 is a couple of bucks lower.

But given you are thinking of shifting from HK to SG, you should consider other aspect such as quality of living vs career options. I would think career options in HK will be a bit better, while quality of life is better in SG.
