Why is EY audit so jialat until nobody wants to join? I know they have problem retaining and hiring new local seniors. Increase pay also doesn't really help. They hire most seniors from Malaysia now

Audit is a relatively low skilled job with long hours, there is only so much you can pay a local to do it instead of quitting before it stops making economical sense.

Yeah thanks, I should have specified SaT (restructuring).
A2 5k flat is what I'm hearing.
If that's true it's a fair bit better than the other big 4.
