How is it an oxymoron when you get to earn 300k to 500k a year, or even 1m when you reach the board level

I expect you will need to take a loan from the partnership, so your first year earnings will only go back to the Partnership lol.
Come back in a few years and we can celebrate then.

True that. Let me accumulate a few years of partner's earnings and we can celebrate from there

I am currently in a Big 4's Global Mobility Services drawing $3,100 per month and I am offered an AS role in PwC's Global Mobility Services for $3,500.
Should I change over considering PwC just sold off their GMS unit to a US company and I will lose the Big 4 branding?

huh. news of this transaction has been around since beginning of this year. you didn't think about this until now?
anyway i dont think it makes a difference. the big 4 brand is overrated anyway and there may be more prospects for advancement with a freestanding organization

yea, i was pretty out of the loop till october.
so in your opinion, there is more prospect as a standalone organization? cos i am worried about my exit opportunities after pwc/this new company.
Will the big 4 name be more useful in the future?

Should I organize a yatch or bachelor's party together with my bosses and other partners to celebrate my success?
