You are comparing KP to the other B4.

In reality, normally after getting CA, most candidates will jump to commercial and negotiate a 15% to 20% raise.

So this move by KP is trying to retain staff.

After the jump, KPMG guy with CA pay will be equal to someone who jump to commercial instead. But after 1 to 2 year, the base pay of kpmg will be higher cuz of the yearly increment
