Sia
I worked in SIA almost 10 yrs back fresh out of school.
Only lasted 1 year as the environment was too stiffling.
These large TLCs sometimes take alot of time to review applicants, so have patience.
In parallel, apply for other jobs. No need to out all your eggs in one basket.

sure, I'm not sitting around hoping they would call. I've applied to other jobs as well. But I do want to figure out whether I actually stand a chance at all.
I hope 10 years on SIA has become a better place to work. Were you ground or cabin crew, and how was the working environment like?
thanks

I was working in their Mkt Planning side.
Work culture is OK but unless you are a scholar, your rise will be painfully slow.
Takes 10 yrs to make a manager if you are a normal 2nd Uppers.
The organization is so large what you work on is insignificant and you do not feel sense of achievement. At least, thats how I felt.
I gave up 6mths bonus & left. That was quite some money when you are fresh out of school.

If you don't mind me asking, were you under the admin officer scheme?
And would you happen to know what sort of salary increments are offered per year? Thanks
