Multiple job interviews but no offer.
I am in my mid 30s and don't seem to have any luck with job offers despite the fact that I have multiple job interviews coming my way. I'm a graduate and is currently I'm working in the social service industry. The jobs that I had applied are government service/stat boards. Anyone here care to give me some advice/pointers? I believe I didn't screw up during the interview. Thank you.

Get some friends or contacts who are already working in the government service/stat boards to help recommend or guide you through the interviews.
At mid 30s, contacts are probably more important than capabilities and results.

I have already employed this "strategy" already. Perhaps age is the inhibiting factor here.

I've been called for close to 10 interviews til date but not a single offer was made to me.
I was really seriously doubting that the employment market is getting better.. it doesn't apply at least to me. I still got a job but would just like to go for higher aspirations.

I believe you're far more likely to be considered base on your work experience but since age matters, honestly, most employers have their eyes on fresh grads or mid-20's.

i also in mid 30s. If they are not interested to employ people of my age.
Why ask us go all the way to interview.
I also got many interview and no success.
but there are some...who send many and not even one interview...so...haiz
I know the way i presentatation is not that aticulate.
The problem is those who talk and present well are those who cannot perform. very snake around. but top management like those type...haiz again.. I seen so many. Those who are quiet and those silent worker who hardwork.

don't complain about those who can present themselves well. sometimes they also bring the goods.
if you have problems with presenting yourself and articulating, i suggest you improve..take courses if you're really serious about going up..
