I am contemplating getting my degree finally probably from PSB (will try SIT and SUSS but highly doubt theyll accept my certs).

I guess I was wondering if anyone has any advice for possible routes/training programmes/careers i can embark on without a degree/private degree. I think a management programme of some sort would be interesting but im not sure if they would accept a private degree. Im seeing alot of comments saying private degs are useless/unrecognised so i'm also worried about that.

I'm also learning digital marketing/copywriting/video editing on the side to see if anything sticks.

Thanks i'm immensely grateful for any pearls of wisdom

oh also i highly doubt i will go for govt jobs as im not sure if they accept persons with MH records
As you can see from the trolls, this is probably not the best place to turn to for advice. I'd suggest looking at the SGUnited portal for traineeships. These were introduced specifically for people in your situation. The payscale is ****, for sure - but its better than not having a job.

Right not, i don't think you should be considering another degree (think about the additional expenditure and time lost). The truth of the matter is that you don't seem to know what you want to do. This is not a criticism - many people don't. So it may be better to take on a traineeship or internship in an area of your interest to see if (1) you have what it takes to succeed in that area of interest and (2) Whether you really need that degree to progress in that area of interest (3) Whether the degree is worth it (What's the ROI?).

Finally, the govt has been really good with career advice in recent years. There are many organizations which offer free career advice to people like you. There's e2i. There's WSG Careers Connect. ect ect ect. You get the point.

Reaching out is the first step, so i applaud you for that.... but self-help is necessary and potentially more determinative a factor of your success as compared to any degree.

On one hand you say the pay is ****, yet on the other you tell him to take it and be content with it. What kind of lousy advice is that? Living such a pathetic existence, might as well all in TOTO and hope for a better tomorrow.

A leap of logic I would expect out of typical UOLSIM scum. Still looking forward to seeing my fat bonus in my bank account while you scramble to fill up your application form for McDonald's

Cringe. Perhaps seek some help if you must. Antisocial behavior and delusion are a bad mix.

Imagine unironically applying for a job with that piece of UOL toilet paper though, lol. Not embarrassing meh? 😂

Not true... This girl I don't like in my internship days, now got into Facebook already. She's only from RMIT while I'm from NUS. You're welcome to check her LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/beatrice-ong-5386a680/ (not me btw. I only wish I'm a hot chick like that. Unfortunately I'm BBFA). Even though I don't like her, bc she's super vulgar, must admit maybe her marketing skills damn zai lor.

8 years of experience since graduation, very possible what.

It's just that private degree fellas are handicapped at the start, but somehow love to vehemently deny it. Nothing wrong really as the above example has shown.
