But still, a FCH is a FCH.
Don’t think the CS differentiates the majors.
Would be a different story in private sector.

Please. Arts FCH is not easily attainable Hor. Are you able to read tons of lengthy literature week after week? And write well for essays after essays using critical thinking skills and persuasive arguments? Arts and stem degree are just at different ends of the scale. Non is inferior than the others.

That guy has got serious issues, agree that it is not a direct comparison. I could argue that stem has got the ‘right answer’ for every qs so one just has to be good in memorising. Can’t say the same for arts. I’m from engineering and I acknowledge that I can’t write as well as my colleagues from arts major. Putting ppl down gets one nowhere.

Why would I be salty over a FCH major that has a lower unemployment rate/starting salary than STEM majors. The truth is that you can say Arts FCH is not easy but the yearly employment statistics and starting salary already shows that arts is still not as valuable as STEM majors. (you can go ahead and try getting a FCH in engineering/sciences/maths, i doubt u will succeed) Furthermore, a simple check in entry requirement for arts shows that it is a dumping ground for people who can't make it elsewhere. Without considering the content of arts majors, the bell curve is alr so much easier with less smart people inside lor. If you really think the arts major FCH is still harder than stem major FCH then you are just plain delusional. No HR will agree with that pls.

I have an arts FCH and I can confirm that it was easy to get FCH. Still you sound like a lil b*tch and if I was an employer I wouldn't want to hire a delusional sh*t like you who thinks their degree actually matters to HR.
Stay salty xoxo

Just wanted to share
SB, 2nd upper, local uni, NS, $4k
Was expecting my salary to be quite low compared to GES, but seeing how many people replied with starting salaries of 3.5k with my qualifications, honestly feel kinda grateful now
