Healthcare Allied Health Salary
Would like to kindly check if anyone is aware for allied health workers, usually when you move on to another employer (e.g. 1 hospital to another), what is the usual or reasonable amount (%) increment to ask for?
Its pretty much a 1 man show vocation.
Have a basic degree with 2.5 yrs of relevant work experience and completed NS.

why do people always expect increments when changing job? I've been looking for jobs for the last 5 years and every single offer comes with a $600-1000 pay cut. I am in gahment sector by the way.

Allied Health Job Grades/Salary Scale
In the healthcare sector especially within the allied health sector, salary increments are extremely common and are expected. A minimum of 10% can be expected but this depends on your last drawn pay, when you last had an increment or pay review, your job grade/seniority, and your experience/area of specialization/expertise. No one will ever take up a new job in the healthcare sector that doesn't come with more benefits and salary increment.
Anyway, will someone be able to share their job grade and salary scale after this year's MOH pay review and institutional pay increments?
I'll share what I have but the info I have are quite outdated (before 2010):
Job Grade 11 (entry-level for Diploma holders): Min S$1400 to Max S$2750
Job Grade 12 (entry-level for Degree holders): Min S$1700 to Max S$3850
Job Grade 13 (Senior II level): Min S$2275 to Max S$4500
Job Grade 14 (Senior I level): Min S$2800 to Max S$5100
Job Grade 15 (Principal level): Min S$4100 to Max S$7500
Job Grade 16 (Senior Principal level): Min S$5200 to Max S$8100
That's all I can remember. The pay scales have definitely changed since this year. I implore your help to update. The updated information will help a job switcher in his/her negotiation process. Thanks!

Nope. Executive/administrative staff are on a different pay scale. Healthcare therapists will earn more because of funding from the Ministry.
