In fact, I am also one of those candidate waiting for an offer from Apple after submitting my info for background checks since Sep.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what's the chances of getting an offer if the background check goes fine. Does anyone has friends working in Apple retail who can shed some light on this?

yes! there is quite a lot of opportunities in big regional tech start-ups e.g. Grab, Lazada, Shopee, Jo-gek. $$ is good. YoY salary adjustment is ~10%.

Has anyone here emailed Apple about status of application? What was the reply? Do you think job offer is inevitable since we were asked to furnish info for background check?
