hello i am in one of the local bank back office, close to 5 years of relevant working exp, currently base 6k p.m. and just got 2-3 months bonus. Am I under or over paid?

just think about it, let's look at all the local banks and their tech program ( which are incredibly easy to get in )

dbs seed = 5.5k p.m, after 2 yr program, 6.5k
uob tdp = 4.5k p.m, after 1 yr program, 4.8k
ocbc program = 5k p.m ( dunno how long this prog is )

these are all 0-2 years of experience people

Associates at law firms - even the big 4 - don’t actually earn $10k. When the 2-3 PQE tell you amounts that sound big eg $8k, $9k, those amounts are front loaded with bonus.

If you do your math, their non front loaded salary and the all in total comp is similar to their peers in banking (certain parts la, not saying all parts of banking)
