When Should You Choose a Combination Mark for Your Logo?
Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well!
I'm currently working on a logo for my brand and wanted to get your thoughts on something. I've been looking into different types of logos, and I came across something called a combination mark—which is basically a logo that includes both text and a symbol or icon. It seems like a flexible option, but I'm not 100% sure when it's the right choice.
Have any of you used a combination mark for your own brand or project? What made you decide to go with that type of logo instead of just a wordmark or an icon? I’d love to hear your experiences—what worked, what didn’t, and if you think it helped with recognition or branding overall.
Any advice, examples, or suggestions would be super helpful. Just trying to figure out if this is the right direction before I move forward.
Thanks in advance!
