So don't tell us who are practising the field that because of our diploma, we're too highly paid... Most of our peers have a matter of fact gotten our degrees at nti (now ntu), singapore uni (now nus), etc... So are we now too lowly paid... Such myopic mentality!!!

What's the difference between an LAE and a Mechanic? Won't eventually, a Mechanic/Technician have the same or even more skills and knowledge set as compared to an LAE, when working on the same aircraft for a given period, say 2-4 years? So, what's so special about an LAE as compared to a mechanic besides their signature and extra pay? You are just overpaid. Can someone enlighten me?

all this talk about money, hard work, long hours, stress, benefits, prospects, hazardous environment, passion and interest, etc...
i thought i should mention your liability after you sign the CRS.... the think that keeps you awake all night wondering if you missed out something, or there was something you should have done but didn't...
