Another route for you is to join STAero as a trainee LAE with a minimum entry of diploma, if you wanna boost your chance u can find any intern starting jobs like aircraft planner, trainee technician, store assistant, SATS, DNATA or basically anything aircraft related to boost your chance in the interview.

Thank you. Googled a bit and saw last year's trainee application only started in May so I have a few months to think about it. Between companies that offer LAE traineeships, which ones do you recommend?

I would recommend bombardier or jet aviation. Unless you prefer the wide-bodies, then by all means go for the 2 staples.
