Hi all, I’ve finished 2 rounds of interviews at JPMC and HR had contacted me via email to request for 3 years of payslip (take note, it’s 3 years and not 3 months). The HR lady also asked me to fill up a form so that the company is aware of my expected salary, etc.
However, there was a caveat. HR mentioned that this does not necessarily constitute an offer as they’re still in the midst of interviewing other candidates. Despite that, she asked me to furnish the required information with 100% accuracy and she gave me a one-day deadline.
May I seek the advice of bros and sis here:
1) Why asked me to submit 3 years worth of payslip when they haven’t even finalise the outcome?
2) I told them that I’ve another offer that pays $6000/mth and I’m requesting for $7k per month. My last drawn is $5000/mth. Do I stand a chance in the hike?

We do not have any details of your past experience and job applying for.
But you are very greedy. Good luck!

Since you already have a confirmed offer of $6K salary, with 7 years of experience asking for $7k is pretty reasonable since they mentioned the need to OT. Always remember that once you accept a lower offer you will need a longer time frame to pay your housing loan.
