Why join technology risk side if you're not interested in cyber?

Interested in technology but unsure if I want to do cyber and public service for my life career haha. As for renumeration, both are similar actually! Wanted to ask if anyone inside can shed some inside about the TCRD department. I guess the culture/ppl/worklife would be the biggest difference.

Hi all, received a contract role for MAS. Is it advisable to go in as contract? Or outlook is bleak for contract

You won’t learn much tech in MAS unless you go to govtech. It’s usually project and vendor management. If you are keen in cyber, you should go to csa or govtech or banks for the experience and skills.

Suggest you start at private first cause MAS is really more administrative.

One of my friend share avg joe best to join PS once hit mid-career age.
How true it is? Approaching mid career in about 3 yrs.

Now in private IT sector (one leg kick type), more than 10 yrs in same company. My performance on the average type, not too good, not too bad. I do alot but no promotion opportunity beyond technical role.
