I was informed my grade is a low C this year. Sigh. What does that even mean? Isn't C still a C? Do I get less increment?

Or is it like they take pity never give me C- or C#?

??? I said “no one in XT6 is at ceiling”, I don’t mean there is NO ceiling.
It could just be those at XT6 generally gets promoted to XT7 and they are not “stuck”.

Probably most people get stuck at more senior grades of XT7 and XT8.

Got passed over for promotion despite having 3Bs in a row already.

it means ur performing well but perhaps the next grade js so ething the bosses feel you are not ready

Associate is in the same grade as you? You are only competing with people that are of the same grade, so I don't think it is possible for a associate to take your position.

Both of us are XT6. I have been working for so many years.
Also very sian I see people play politics and succeed in promotion. I don't think my director is that blind but oh well such is life.

try to demonstrate your ability to operate at a highet level

Other XT6 talking about salary hitting 8-9k+ and here I am, XT6 with almost 10YOE and haven't even hit 6K.

Any fresh grad or up to 3YOE can share how much they are getting? am i severely underpaid here?
