In my 7 years in RH, no ghosts. Actually at night hosp is quite crowded one. Lot of nurse and security. I think you ot in cbd more scary.

Background about myself, I have 10 years of procurement experience in the private industry, drawing about S$7k as a procurement manager currently. Looking to switch to healthcare industry.

What is the monthly gross salary of a procurement manager in RH?

Are there various grades in RH and if there are, what are the norm grading for managers?

How is progression like in RH? (e.g. Manager>Assistant Director>Director)

RH bonus generally not high. Inclusive of aws, mid yr and yr end and performance bonus generally is about total of 3-4mths max

that seems lower than ministries/stat boards

i will recomend you to not to switch unless you are ok with a large pay cut ~low 5k

Anyone has work in both restructured and private hospital before? What are the differences in terms of salary, any personal growth and development? If i goes to private and am no happy there, would it be difficult to go back to restructured hospital? Any thoughts? Thanks!

not really. can always join another cluster.

Thanks for the advice...any reason why you don't like private? I have been working in restructured hospital for 6 years and thinking whether i should join private.

I have worked in both public and private hospital. Joined RH then Private. I would said that the salary is quite similar in terms of title, with Private eking out with a slight higher percentage. There are courses in both public and private for your professional and personal development.

I am with the biggest private hospital in sg but I feel the workflow is a bit lagging and worse than public.
